Announcing IASEAI ‘25
The International Association for Safe and Ethical AI will host its inaugural conference (IASEAI ‘25) on Feb 6-7, 2025 at the OECD La Muette Headquarters and Conference Centre in Paris, ahead of the Paris AI Action Summit. This free conference will convene relevant stakeholders of safe and ethical AI, including leading experts from academia, civil society, industry, media, and government, to discuss the latest developments in AI safety and ethics. Participation is by invitation only, based on submission of a statement of interest or proposed talk/poster abstract.

The newly-formed IASEAI is an independent charitable organization with the mission to ensure that AI systems are guaranteed to operate safely and ethically; and to shape policy, promote research, and build understanding and community around this goal.

By bringing together experts from various domains, we aim to facilitate dialogue, share knowledge, and foster partnerships that can collectively address the challenges and opportunities posed by AI.
Most AI conferences focus on advancing the capabilities of AI systems. IASEAI is focused on ensuring that AI systems operate safely and ethically, for the benefit of humanity; moreover, it brings together technical, policy, and ethics researchers from academia, government, civil society, and industry.
IASEAI’25 aims to foster discussions that raise awareness and lead to new strategies, solutions, and standards.
